A Stone's Throw has a new addition to their accommodation.

A family holiday house at South Africa's oldest sea-side resort KASOUGA. Situated off the R72 roughly halfway between Kenton-on-Sea and Port Alfred. 145 km's from Port Elizabeth and 159km's from East London. And only 64 km's from Grahamstown.

This fully equipped self-catering family holiday home is situated less than five minutes walk from the beautiful tranquil lagoon and expansive beach. Tranquil setting ideal for bird and nature lovers. View the rare blue duiker, bush buck, monkeys and tortoises from the garden. Childrens delight and family retreat.

         

Kasouga, known for its pristine and peaceful beaches, can be found along the Eastern Cape between Kenton-on-Sea and Port Alfred. Originally meaning “the place of leopards” today we have the pleasure of seeing Oribis, Bush Buck, Tortoise and a host of indigenous wild birds.

@ Kasouga Junction, offers a fully equipped self catering, holiday home. With three main bedrooms and two smaller rooms for children1 inside bathroom as well as an outside shower and loo. Situated amidst the dense milkwood trees and a few minutes walk through the gap in the dunes to the river and spacious beaches.

Accommodation and Facilities:
@ Kasouga Junction is a fully equipped self-catering family holiday home. Braai facilities. Spacious Garden. Linen and bath towels supplied, bring own beach towels. Bathroom and toilet inside and outside toilet and shower with hot/cold water.

We offer 3 spacious bedrooms each having twin beds. 2 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers and the 3rd bedroom has a private bathroom with bath. There is an outside shower as well should guests prefer to wash off when they return from the beach.

Linen and towels supplied, please bring own beach towels.

The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster as well as cutlery and crockery. The lounge opens out onto the deck and braai lapa which is ideal for early morning breakfast, braais or sundowners..

Please remember Kasouga has no services, so you take your own rubbish to the dump.
Rain water tanks only – be conservative.
Closest shops at Kenton-on-Sea and Port Alfred.

Location:
40 minutes drive to Grahamstown, located along our Sunshine coast, roughly half-way between Kenton-on-Sea (12kms) and Port Alfred(15kms).
